Location: Various Locations Hours: Various Hours Minimum Qualifications: Current CPR Training, Current First Aid Training, MD Board Approved Medication Technician Certification, Must have reliable transportation. Includes the following, however, other duties may be assigned. Assist clients with dressing, bathing, oral hygiene and related personal care. Serves food, feeds clients and collects trays when necessary. Maintains clean and dry bed, changes bed linen, gathers and cleans soiled laundry. Lifts client in and out of bed and wheelchair, and positions client when necessary. Observes client to report physical and mental symptoms to RN. Takes and records client’s blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight. Makes routine entries in client’s chart. Runs errands for client. Applies compresses, ice bags and hot water bottles. Observes clients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to RN in charge. Administers specified medication, orally or topically, and notes time and amount of client’s chart. Prepares or examines food for prescribed diet; records food and fluid intake and output.
